Forget about wrestling with tent poles and lugging loads of gear – this is camping done right. Set within a peaceful patch of ancient woodland on the banks of the River Lynher, our self-catered wild glamping experience is designed to be easy for you and easy on the environment. Comfortable five-metre bell tents sit in a private three-acre meadow, exclusively for you and the people you come with.
Your experience begins with a 20-minute walk through ancient woodland along the river, while your bags will be transported down to the riverside meadow for you. Tents are set on raised platforms and furnished with camp beds, rugs, carpets & eco-solar lanterns – just be sure to bring your own sleeping bag and mat.
Little luxuries include three composting toilets, rain-fed wash area, quirky ‘spartan’ shower, fire pit with wood and parachute shelter, a bowser of drinking water, and picnic tables and seating made from recycled wood. You’ll also be kitted out with a fire bridge and grill for cooking, plus all the kitchen bits you could need.
Pick activities to suit your level of adventure, whether that’s exploring the 40-acre woodlands, swimming in the river, searching for wildlife or just enjoying your own piece of paradise. Should you want to venture further, Bodmin Moor is just four miles away, and the Tamar Valley a few miles more. The beautiful location might steal the show, but the rustic vibe and eco-credentials ensure a glamping experience you’ll never forget.
£175 per Belltent per night (Each belltent sleeps up to five adults in campbeds or six on sleeping mats)
Two night minimum & seven night maximum booking. Contact us if you are interested in staying longer (we may be able to offer a discount).
Bookings need to be at least seven days in advance. Contact us directly if you want to book at short notice.
Maximum 18 people. We do have a 4m belltent: please contact us if you want to book this as well.
Dogs are welcome free of charge, we just ask that you pick up after them
