Greenwood Music CIC is a social enterprise with a mission to boost and improve the wellbeing of people and planet.
To help us achieve both, the Naturesave Trust has provided a £5000 grant to support our Friends of Caradon Wood conservation volunteer programme. We will run regular volunteering days to support us in our work to improve the rainforest.
It won’t all be hard graft, there’ll be lots of learning and time to sit back with a hot cuppa and enjoy the backdrop of the 40-acres that is Caradon Wood. Volunteers will also share in a hot lunch, cooked ove the open fire: time to connect, chat and chill. Although many of our ‘friends’ will join us through our social purpose programmes, the opportunity will be open to all.
Greenwood Music are determined to improve the wellbeing of people through spending time in quality Nature. Boosting their wellbeing through connecting with Nature, and each other, being active, learning new skills and giving of their time, volunteers will boost the wellbeing of Caradon Wood in our journey to improve it as an Atlantic Temperate Rainforest: A real win-win!
