We all need to look after our mental health, and we also know that simply ‘being in nature’ works wonders: validated in recent years by much research. The sounds, the scents and the majesty of the trees, conspire to calm; nature helps us access the time that we may need to think things through. In Japan, such forest bathing or Shinrin-yoku is a recognised form of eco-therapy and its benefits are gaining recognition around the world.
