WILD GLAMPING IN OUR RIVERSIDE MEADOW

Set within in a peaceful patch of ancient woodland on the banks of the River Lynher, our self-catered wild glamping experience is designed to be easy for you and easy on the environment. Comfortable five-metre bell tents sit in a private three-acre meadow, exclusively for you and the people you come with. Pick activities to suit your level of adventure, whether that’s exploring the 40-acre woodlands, swimming in the river, searching for wildlife or just enjoying your own piece of paradise.

Treetent experience camp in our ancient woodland

Take camping to the next level with our Treetent Experience Camp (TEC) in the Cornish ancient woodland. Three safari treetents, suspended between trees, provide intimate yet communal spaces for up to three people each, letting you enjoy nature’s symphony as you sleep amidst the treetops. TEC offers camp comforts like quirky wood burners and recycled timber seating, providing all essential amenities. The durable treetents are designed to endure nature’s challenges, offering a floating haven above rugged terrain.

If you’re looking for a getaway and experience to be one for nature then look no further. My friends and I all get together once in the year to do something as a group and this experience went beyond our expectations. Our host, Phil, was very kind and welcoming and did everything he could to make the experience extra special for us. We had a nice campfire already lit when we arrived and provided us with everything we needed for the stay. The location was an absolute gem, open starry skies, campfires, glamping tents and the sound of the running water from the nearby river was all bliss. With everything professionally hand crafted and ecofriendly we all really felt at one with nature. The trip as a whole was very therapeutic and exciting, definitely would recommend it and looking forward to visiting again!

Spent the weekend here with 9 friends. Phil was excellent at communication, helping us check in and driving us to the campsite with our luggage. The location is fantastic and Phil provides everything you could ever need to make your stay comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend. The clear sky full of stars at night was beautiful. Thank you for a memorable weekend!

We enjoyed a great time in Greenwood Music woodlands, the communication from Phil before arrival was clear with a kit list provided of everything we needed to bring. It was a wonderful escape in a sustainably managed woodland - the privacy and lack of human noise pollution was a real joy as was being able to dip in the river when it got too hot. The facilities were well set up and thoughtfully prepared, and Phil gave us a thorough induction on arrival. We've already discussed returning and signing up to one of the many woodworking sessions on offer!

We had a great weekend. The location is amazing - a riverside meadow in 40 acres of temperate rainforest - and the amenities are all perfect for a few days in the woods. You can shower (but you could just swim in the river!), toilets are provided, and the fire/cooking/eating area is great, and very social - plus everything is covered in the event of rain. The tents are all equipped with camp beds to set you up for a nice sleep. Phil was super helpful all the way through, both in terms of responding to our communications and sending us all the information that we needed. He was also flexible - he provided an extra bed at late notice - and helped ferry our stuff down to the camp and get set up for the weekend, as well as coming to take us back up at the end. The main thing is that he is a passionate steward of these woods - and you can tell that from talking to him about them. If you want to properly get away to the countryside for a few days, this is the perfect spot.
